Peter & Sharon Georges, Orthodox Christian Missionaries, founded the St. Nicholas Uganda Children’s Fund to help orphans and other vulnerable children in the slums of Kampla Uganda.
They will be visiting our parish on July 7 and sharing our Divine Liturgy at 10am. You will have the opportunity to meet them during our fellowship hour (12 noon) and hear the fascinating story of their ministry in the capital city of Uganda.
Peter & Sharon will be showing photos of their work as they tell the story of how they fell in love with the people of Uganda, what prompted them to begin the work of the Children’s Fund, and what keeps them going year after year.
