Building Update

On Thursday, October 17 the building steering committee and architect Tom Smith opened the bids from five contractors.  Parish Council approved the recommended bid from the committee and the parish voted on October 27 on a resolution to accept the recommended contractor and authorized Fr. Justin to proceed with the first phase of the new church building.     On the Feast of St. John Kochurov, the BSC met with Tom Smith and contractors Burchfield & Thomas (B & T).  With the blessing of Archbishop Nikon and the approval of the parish, Fr. Justin signed a contract that is effective immediately.  According to B & T a construction trailer will be placed on Lime Lane on Monday, Nov. 4 and construction of our new church building begins!  Glory to Jesus Christ!
