The month of January was a rich and special month at St. Athanasius (check out the large collection of photos at the bottom of this page!)
- as usual, we marked the Great Feast of Theophany (Epiphany) with the Great Blessing of Waters both inside and outside
- as usual for this season, we blessed cars and homes (if you would like a houseblessing, there is still time before Lent, so reach out to our priest)
- we celebrated our Parish’s 20th Anniversary (you can view our full 20th Anniversary Retrospective here)
- finally, we continued to improve our Multi-Part Intro to Orthodoxy Catechetical Series on YouTube with a new episode on the “Boundaries of the Church & Reception of Converts”
Having celebrated the Great Feast of the Meeting of the Lord right at the start of February, our community now looks forward to a number of events in this month. You can review our complete online google calendar here and special events in February include:
- Feb. 8: a Visitors’ Tuesday Evening Event at our daughter mission St. Nina in Berea, KY
