14th Sunday After Pentecost / Annual Parish Meeting
Vespers on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 6:30pm at St. Nina Mission in Berea. We are renting space at the Friends Meeting House (Quakers) at 300 Harrison Rd. Local folks are invited to come and participate in this exciting outreach. Fellowship, potluck, then a short teaching will follow the service.
Wednesday Vespers at St. Athanasius will begin at 6:30pm. For the fall 2021 Christian Eduction Class that follows Vespers, Fr. Justin is teaching a series entitled “Introduction to Orthodoxy—a Catechesis in 11 Parts.” This week will be Part 2: Introducing an Orthodox Worldview. Everyone is invited to attend in person or watch the class via YouTube.
On Thursday at 10am you are invited to join the chanting of the lay Akathist to the Mother of God Nurturer of Children.
Feast for the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos is Friday, October 1.
In observance of this Feast we will serve Great Vespers on Thursday 9/30 at 5pm and Festal Liturgy on Friday at 9am.
