The Great Feast of Theophany (sometimes called Epiphany) is upon us! The word Theophany indicates, in Greek, the appearance of God Himself among us. In the life of the Orthodox Christian Church, this feast of Theophany remains second only to Pascha (Easter) in importance–because now Christ has been declared to be–by the Father and the Spirit both–the Beloved Son coeternal with the Father and the Spirit. One of the Trinity now begins His ministry among us to woo our souls (and even our bodies) back into the embrace of the Father. We welcome everybody to our services!
