Feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker
Today’s Readings: Ephesians 6:10-17 Luke 17:12-19
On this Feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, we will receive five new members into the Orthodox Faith with Chrismation. Many Years to Nicholas & Katie Marshall w/sons Brogan & Declan, and Josiah Letchworth! If you would like to welcome them with a small gift item, baskets will in the conference room until Sunday before Nativity.
St. Nicholas Akathist will be prayed this Sunday at 5pm in Berea at the Danforth Chapel on the Berea College campus. The Roman Catholic parish in Berea has invited Fr. Justin to lead the service for the students and to stay for a shared meal following with a Q & A session on the legacy of St. Nicholas. Catholic, Orthodox and Berea students from all backgrounds will share this ecumenical event in honor of the Feast of St. Nicholas.
Moleben for Local Needs (St. Anna) will be prayed on Tuesday the 8th at 11am. If you are unable to attend but have prayer requests, please email to Fr. Justin.
Wednesday Vespers at 6:30pm. In place of our weekly catechesis, we will have a choir practice for nativity music; all are welcome! Nativity Compline at 8:20pm.
Matins will be served on Friday, December 11 at 8am. Confessions heard at 9am.
