Lying at the conclusion of the Paschal days, Pentecost remains one of the most beloved feasts of the Orthodox. This year, St. Athanasius will celebrate Pentecost with our new hierarch, the Right Reverend Alexander, Bishop of Dallas and the South. Our schedule leading up to and including Pentecost weekend is:

Vacation Church School 2016: June 20-24
St. Athanasius will be providing the venue for the annual Lexington-area Pan-Orthodox Vacation Church School, co-hosted by our sister parishes Holy Queen of All (Panagia) Orthodox Church and St. Andrew Orthodox Church. Bishop Alexander will open our Vacation Church School at 9am, Monday, June 20. Our program will run Monday through Friday (June 20-24) from 9am to noon each day.
