Welcome Archpriest David Arnold, Dean of the Appalachian Deanery of the Diocese of the South! We appreciate Fr. David taking time to be with us and presiding over the weekend cycle of services in Fr. Justin’s absence this weekend.
Wednesday Evening will be a Reader’s Vespers at 6:30pm. The Christian Education Class following will be a presentation by our parishioner and iconographer, Daniel Werner. He will discuss the purpose of icons and how that purpose forms the stylistic range of traditional Christian imagery. In other words: why do we have icons in the first place and why do they look the way they do.
