Theophany & Houseblessings
The joyous Winter Pascha continues with the Feast of Theophany (Epiphany) during which we commemorate the Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ and its place in the story of our salvation. Two of the beloved features of this particular Church Feast are the Great Blessing of Waters (both indoors and outdoors) and the Blessing of Homes. Every parishioner and friend of the parish is invited to participate in these powerful prayers of sanctification and consecration to God.
Our online schedule for the Blessing of Homes can be found here and the text of the service that we use for this (along with some basic information about the service) can be found here.
