Fathers of the 7th Ecumenical Council
Today’s Readings: 2 Corinthians 11:31-12:9 Luke 8:5-15
Youth Group will meet at the church today at 5pm. They plan to visit a Ukranian Pentecostal Church and then debrief over ice cream (bring money).
Wednesday is the Feast Day for St. Luke, Evangelist & Physician. At 9am Fr. Justin will pray a Moleben to St. Luke for the sick of our parish. If you would like him to pray for someone not on the prayer list, please email names to him.
Wednesday Vespers will be served as usual at 6:30pm. Part 4 of our 12- Part New Catechesis Series will be offered 7:20-8:20pm. Our topic for the night will be “Orthodox Worship in Seasons, in Fasting, and in Feasting.” We will explore everything from the outline of the church year, to the various service books that contain the rich hymnody of Orthodoxy, to ways of fasting and feasting throughout the church year.
