Sunday of the Last Judgment / Meatfare Sunday
Today is the last day for eating meat and meat products until Pascha, though eggs and dairy products are permitted every day during the coming week. This limited fasting prepares us gradually for the more intense fasting of Great Lent (beginning on Monday, February 19).

Wednesday Vespers at 6:30pm, February 14. For our Christian Educaton Class this week, Scott Fennema, a philosophy graduate student at UK, will be teaching a one-time class on “Providence & What it Means for Us.” This class will tie in directly to some of the themes that Fr. Stephen will be sharing with us on March 3 when he leads our parish retreat on “Providence and the Divine Fire.”
