Holy Week & Pascha 2019

Having welcomed our Archbishop Alexander here for Lazarus Saturday & Palm Sunday–and celebrated the Baptisms and Chrismations of our catechumens–our parish community is now marking the awesome days of Holy Week that lead us from the Passion of Christ to his Glorious Resurrection! We invite Orthodox Christians, Christians of other confessions, and even those who struggle to believe to join us for this special journey. There is nothing like Holy Week & Pascha (Easter) in the Orthodox Church! Our Holy Week & Paschal schedule can be found below (or can found in printable pdf form with additional commentary here):

    • 630pm Bridegroom Matins [1.5 hours]
  • Holy Tuesday (4/23)

We are the first OCA parish in Kentucky. We are located in the heart of the bluegrass region just outside Lexington.
