Sunday of the Paralytic – The Kontakion for this Fourth Sunday of Pascha asks Christ to raise up our souls, “paralyzed by sins and thoughtless acts.”

Today’s Readings: Acts 9:32-42 John 5:1-15

The Feast for our patronal saint, St. Athanasius the Great, Patriarch of Alexandria and Pillar of Orthodoxy is on Wednesday, May 2 (also Midfeast of Pentecost this year). Festal Liturgy will be served on Tuesday, May 1 at 5:30pm and we will have a parish picnic following on the parish grounds.  Note: The Liturgy scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled.

Vespers will be served on Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30pm. Fr. Justin will present the second class of the new Christian Education series —The Holy Ones —The Apostolic Fathers, Heirs of the Apostles beginning about 7:20pm.
