Work continues on the new church. HVAC, electric, and plumbing are all set as the insulation and drywall begins. Siding will soon be completed. The onion dome is on order and should arrive in July, in time for occupancy.
This past week we prepared a time capsule (see group photo). In the capsule, we placed a parish roster, recent parish bulletins and publications, as well as photos of our last 12 years as a parish community and other mementos that will be opened later. We placed the capsule in the wall where the elevator will eventually be placed in a later phase. While we don’t know the precise date we will open the capsule, we know that it’s opening will be tied to the ongoing work of developing our parish and our facilities in the years to come. ”
