Sunday of the Last Judgment / Meatfare Sunday
Today’s Readings: 1 Corinthians 8:8-9:2 Matthew 25:31-46
Today is the last day for eating meat and meat products until Pascha, though eggs and dairy products are permitted every day during the coming week. This limited fasting prepares us gradually for the more intense fasting of Great Lent.
Youth Group will meet for their annual Meatfare Banquet this Sunday evening from 6-8pm in the parish hall. Guest speaker will be Nancy Holloway and Josiah Letchworth will share a mini concert with the youth.
Moleben is cancelled for this week.
Wednesday Vespers at 6:30pm. Plan to come the Christian Education Class this week following Vespers to hear about Geoff Whiteman’s recent visit to Europe.
