Feast of Feasts!! The Resurrection of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ
Today’s Readings: Acts 1:1-8 John 1:1-17
Feast of Pascha Begins on Holy Saturday evening at 7pm with the continuous Reading of the Acts of the Apostles until 11:30pm when we enter the somber darkness of Paschal Noctures. At midnight we begin our Paschal Procession leading into Matins and then Liturgy. Following the services, at ~ 3am Father will bless the baskets of food and we can enjoy a Paschal Meal which we invite all present to share with us.
Paschal Agape Vespers will be served at 2pm at High Bridge Park Pavillion in Wilmore. Following is a parish picnic and egg hunt for the children.
The Paschal Celebration continues throughout Bright Week — a No Fasting Week! Services offered each day: 9am on Monday, Tuesday, Friday; 6:30pm on Wednesday, 9:30am on Thursday.
