Feast for Beheading of St. John the Baptist
?We will sing a Panikhida for the 6th Anniversary of the Repose of Archbishop Dmitri (founding bishop of our diocese) at 6:15pm, prior to the Great Vespers for the Beheading of St. John, Monday evening, August 28. ?Liturgy for St. John’s Beheading is served at 9:30am on Tuesday Reminder: St. John’s Feast Day is a Strict Fasting Day.
Vespers on Wednesday, August 30 at 6:30pm. “The Place of St. John the Baptist” is the topic for the weekly catechesis following the service.
Two Events Marking the Beginning of the New Church Year
