11th Sunday After Pentecost
The Feast of the Nativity of The Most Holy Theotokos will be observed on Wednesday, September 8 and commemorated with Vigil on Tuesday at 6:30pm (Confessions at 8:15pm), and Festal Liturgy on Wednesday at 9am.
On Wednesday night, our regular 6:30pm Vespers will be raised to Great Vespers in honor of the Synaxis of Joachim & Anna. Our Christian Education class will feature a video talk given by Elder Roman Braga, of blessed memory, who will share about living spiritual life in our world today.
On Thursday, Sept. 9, we continue our weekly 10am chanting of the Lay Akathist to the Mother of God, Nurturer of Children. We will have copies of the service handy.
Friday’s Akathist will be to Ss. Joachim & Anna at 11am/confessions at 11:50.
