Our parish family here at St. Athanasius warmly invites you to join us on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 930am, for our semi-annual Visitors Sunday. While we aim for every Sunday to be open and warm for our visitors (you are always welcome,) on this Sunday we make extra effort to save space for visitors, be mindful of them, welcome them, offer a church tour explaining our space and our iconography, and to make sure we have plenty of food at our lunch to share with them.
Please join us:
- arrive before 930am for Divine Liturgy (main Sunday worship)
- enjoy a sermon unpacking the Gospel message
- stay for a lively church tour with our parish iconographer Daniel Werner, starting at 1110am
- join us for a light lunch and Q & A with both Fr. Justin and Daniel, starting about 1140am
The Facebook Event Page for Visitors Sunday Fall 2021 is here if you would like to note that you are coming, ask questions, explore our social media presence.
St. Athanasius is located at 100 Lime Lane in Nicholasville (directions.) Some often-asked questions about visiting our church (what to expect, what to wear, etc.) can be found here. If you have any questions or need clarifications about anything, please reach out to Fr. Justin on his mobile at 859-361-2823 or at priest@athanasiusoca.org
See you on Visitors Sunday!
