Sunday Before the Exaltation of the Cross
The Feast for the Exaltation of the Precious Cross is Tuesday, September 14.
We will have Vigil w/Cross on Monday at 6:30pm and Father will hear confessions afterwards. The Festal Liturgy will be at 9am on Tuesday.
The Berea Mission will host its 2nd Vespers service at 6:30pm on Tuesday with fellowship following. Everyone is invited! Remember that the food offerings should be fasting since this is a strict fasting day for the Exaltation of the Cross.
On Wednesday, September 15 Vespers will begin at 6:30pm. Father’s topic for the Christian Ed Class is “An Introduction to Orthodoxy in 60 Minutes!”
On Thursday, September 16, we continue our weekly 10am chanting of the Lay Akathist to the Mother of God, Nurturer of Children. Copies of the service will be available.
Friday’s Akathist will be the Exaltation of the Cross at 11am/confessions at 11:50.
