Feast for St. Justin Martyr is Wednesday, June 1. Great Vespers for St. Justin Martyr will be served at 5pm on Tuesday the 31st, and Liturgy for the feast will be at 9am on Wednesday. Please let Fr. Justin know if you would like to stay for breakfast following Wednesday Liturgy since he is preparing food in honor of his patron saint.
Wednesday Vespers at 6:30pm followed by Christian Education class. We are continuing with the study of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans. Bring your preferred translation of the Scriptures. Parts I, II, & III are accessible online via the parish website.
His Grace, Bishop Alexander will make his first archpastoral visit to St. Athanasius on Pentecost Weekend, June 18-19! We will begin his visit with Festal Great Vespers and reception Saturday evening. He is looking forward to sharing in the youth group’s “Tongues of Fire” chili cook-off and blessing the start of VCS before leaving on Monday morning. Mark you calendars for this special weekend of the Feast of the Holy Trinity.
