9th Sunday After Pentecost
Today’s Readings: 2 Peter 1:10-19 Matthew 17:1-9
The Second August “Feast of the Savior,” the Holy Transfiguration of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, is observed this weekend with Vigil on Saturday at 6:30pm and Liturgy on Sunday at 10am.
The Feast for St. Herman of Alaska is observed on Wednesday, August 9 at 6:30pm with Akathist to St. Herman. Following at ~7:20pm Fr. Justin will teach a class on Getting to Know our Saints.
Volunteers Needed Saturday, August 12! Our gardening day begins with prayer at 8:30am, but please come (and stay) as your schedule permits.
