Today is the 6th Sunday of Pascha
Sunday of the Blind Man
On Wednesday, June 1 we commemorate: “Leavetaking Pascha” / “Forefeast Ascension” / “Martyr Justin the Philosopher and his Companions.” Thursday, June 2 is the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. Services for these special Feasts are as follows:
- Vespers for Martyr Justin & Companions on Tuesday at 6pm.
- Liturgy for Martyr Justin & Companions on Wednesday at 9am.
- Festal Vigil for Ascension is at 6:30pm on Wednesday, followed by confessions at 8:30pm.
- Festal Liturgy for Ascension is at 9am on Thursday.
Wednesday Vespers/Catechesis is preempted this week by Festal Vigil, but will resume at usual times next week.
On Friday, June 3 we will pray an Akathist for Ascension at 11am and Fr. Justin will hear confessions following.
