One of the important “human” moments each year in the life of St. Athanasius is our Annual Parish Meeting (APM,) held every September. This meeting usually lasts about an hour and is mandated by the Orthodox Church in America. Why? This meeting focuses vital attention on the “human” aspects associated with running our parish–finance, governance, and vision. And this is important because we Orthodox believers see everything incarnationally: the Church herself is human and divine in her lived expression. So on Sunday, September 22, immediately after the 930am Liturgy, we will hold [HELD] our APM. Included in this yearly event will be:
- Dismissing Children to Hall (Childcare provided) & Pizza (1120am)
- Receiving Ballots, Verifying Quorum, & Bringing Meeting to Order (1130am)
- [WE HAD QUORUM]
